Off to the desert:
Sunday afternoon we were invited to a trip to the desert.
Off with the Range Rover, leaving the tarmac behind us, desert here we come!
But at first we were waiting for the cabs ...

ready for ...		... a nice ...
	... trip ...		... to the desert!

Leaving the city:
Finally the cars arrived and we left the city. After a short ride we left the tarmac behind us and drove on sand ...
with undiminished speed!
First stop at the camels ...

Go!	passing mosques ...	.. and other buildings ...	... to the sand!
on the sand slope ...	... with undiminished speed!	the first dunes	reduced air pressure - especially for the desert

Dunes:
With full speed ... up and down the dunes!

unbelievable ...	... how high these dunes are ...	... and how steep
		the driver ...	... had some fun!
but sometimes ...	... the cars ...	... got stuck!
		the small sand flea ...	... is working hard

Next station ... camel ride:
After another funny ride across the dunes we arrived at our final destination ... the oasis.
A camel, a sandboard and several quad bikes were waiting ...

Mike too ...	... was in the saddle ...	... and it was fun!

Rest at the oasis:
It was dark very short time after the sunset ... so we followed our guide to the osasis where more attractions were waiting ... henna painting, belly dance, food, drinks and entertainment!
